Kos House Therapy
I’m so happy you are here!
Welcome to Kos House Therapy, a space inspired by the Norwegian concept of Kos—a feeling of warmth, comfort, and connection. Taking the step to seek therapy is an act of bravery towards these values and I celebrate your courage in choosing to invest in yourself and your well-being.
My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you can feel safe, supported, and truly at ease as you embark on your journey of healing and growth. Just as kos encourages moments of genuine connection and reflection, our work together will focus on helping you find balance, build resilience, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
This is your time and your space—a chance to embrace healing and growth in a way that feels right for you. It would be an honor to support you in this process. Let’s start creating something meaningful together and find your own definition of kos in your daily life.
What is Kos?
In Norwegian, Kos is more than just a word—it’s a feeling. It captures the essence of coziness, warmth, and simple pleasures in life. Often associated with comfort, togetherness, and emotional well-being, Kos reflects the joy found in small, meaningful moments.
Whether it’s enjoying a quiet evening by the fireplace, sharing a meal with loved ones, or simply pausing to savor the present, Kos is about creating a sense of peace and connection. It’s an invitation to slow down, embrace the moment, and find happiness in life’s everyday beauty.
In essence, Kos is a way of living—one that encourages us to cultivate spaces and experiences that nourish the soul. Kos is what I strive to create, grow, and bring to every interaction with my clients, as I work along side them to help develop their own versions of Kos in life.
Services I Provide
I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults with options for both in person and telehealth sessions. My focus is on helping clients navigate life transitions, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community—including assessments for surgery letters—and working through trauma, including religious trauma, as well as anxiety and depression. I am also EMDR trained.
I also offer supervision to Licensed Associate Counselors working towards their terminal license with the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.
My aim is to deliver a safe space to engage in connection and conversation that fosters growth to reach your full potential.
